Episode 15
Led Is Not the Same as Driven | Romans 8:14
Being led is not the same as being driven. One of them is killing you. You know which one. It's the one that gets you out of bed at 5 AM to answer the volunteer text you already answered last night. The one that makes you rewrite the setlist at midnight because a better song came to mind. The one that keeps you at the church until 10 PM on a Wednesday not because anything needs to be done, but because leaving feels like a moral failure. In Romans 8:14, Paul names the difference in one verb. Those led by the Spirit are children of God. Led. Not driven. Not pushed. Not coerced. The two look identical from the outside. Same long hours. Same hard work. Same tired leader. The interior is not the same. Being driven feels like a hand in the small of your back. Being led feels like a hand out in front.
